Ansarullah warns US aggression on Iran would spark region‑wide consequences

A senior member of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement warned that any U.S. military attack on Iran would trigger consequences extending far beyond the region. He said aggression against Iran or Yemen would not remain geographically contained, especially amid rising tensions and U.S. naval deployments.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has warned that any aggression against Iran would trigger consequences extending far beyond the borders of the West Asia region.

A member of Ansarullah’s political bureau said on Sunday that a potential US military strike on Iran would impact numerous countries.

Mohammed al‑Farah stated that any attack on Iran or Yemen would not remain limited to one area, stressing that its repercussions would cross borders and affect all parties involved.

The warning comes amid heightened tensions and growing threats of a possible military confrontation between the United States and Iran.

These threats have intensified following the deployment of a US naval flotilla to regional waters near Iran.

US President Donald Trump has repeatedly pressed Iran to return to nuclear negotiations, warning of the possibility of military action.

Iran, however, has declared that even a single hostile act would be met with a powerful response and has rejected talks under threats.

Under Ansarullah’s leadership, Yemen has carried out notable anti‑US operations in regional waters, particularly since the beginning of the Israeli war on Palestine in 2024.

Meanwhile, Yemen’s highest association of religious scholars issued a statement on Sunday, saying that threats of war against Iran are part of a broader plan targeting the Islamic ummah and its independence‑seeking movements.

The scholars urged their counterparts across the Muslim world to adopt a unified and decisive stance against these threats.

They warned that failing to do so would pave the way for further challenges and conspiracies aimed at resistance movements in the region.
