Malaysia Islamic coalition supports Imam Khamenei’s stance on US role behind Iran terrorist attacks

Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) has expressed support for the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei regarding Donald Trump’s interference in the recent terrorist attacks in Iran.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) has expressed support for the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei regarding Donald Trump’s interference in the recent terrorist attacks in Iran.

The statement by MAPIM follows the latest speech by Ayatollah Khamenei holding the U.S. President responsible for the killings, destruction and insecurity caused by the recent acts of terror in different Iranian cities.

Stressing the rights of nations for peaceful protests, the Malaysian Islamic organization called the recent unrest in Iran as diversion of the civil protests towards violence, vandalism and attack on civilians and security forces.

The statement warned that such developments, if led or supported by foreign intelligence institutions, could turn into channels leading to a geopolitical war.

MAPIM expressed deep concerns over the remarks by former U.S. official, Mike Pompeo and Israeli intelligence agencies who supported the recent terrorist attacks calling that a blatant violation of the sovereignty of Iran and a breach of the international laws.

Criticizing the ‘dual standards of the claimants of democracy’, MAPIM stressed,” Calling to destabilization in other countries by those who repress protests within their own borders and remaining silent against occupation and war crimes is a proof that freedom has been misused.”

Reiterating the sovereignty of countries, MAPIM denounced the foreign interference in countries urging the international community to abandon approaches that seek regime change.

The statement by MAPIM comes a day after the Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khamenei addressed the Iranians in a meeting held on the occasion of Eid al-Maba’th condemning the U.S. President Donald Trump for inflicting damage and causing casualties during the recent terrorist attacks in Iran.

The Leader, in part of his speech said, “Since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, the U.S. has tried to restore its previous dominance in Iran,” noting that the U.S. throughout all these years during different administrations has been unwilling to tolerate an independent country like Iran.
