In a speech to media reporters in Florida on Saturday, the US President Donald Trump said that the US will be “very strongly involved” in Venezuela’s oil industry after the ‘capture’ of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores. They are being taken to New York, where they will face indictment.

Earlier today, the U.S. launched military strikes on Venezuela and Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that the U.S. has "successfully" carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, along with his wife, have been taken and "flown out of the country."

Trump said that the US will run Venezuela after Maduro's capture. He claimed that the Venezuelan previous regime stole the oil from the US, stressing that the US oil compaies will be dispatched to Venezuela.

Many countries in the world condmned the US military move as a serious violation of the international law and Venezuela's sovereignty.
