It is the latest in a series of forums for investigating Quran recitations by great international masters.
Previous series featured such masters as Muhammad Rif’at, Mustafa Esmaeel, Ali Mahmud, Muhammad Seddiq Minshawi, Abdul Azeez Hisan, Khalil al-Hisri, Abdul Fattah Sha’sha’ee, Ali al-Bina and Kamil Yusuf al-Bahtimi.
Iranian veteran Quran expert Abbas Salimi as well as Sayyed Hussein Musavi Baladeh and Mohammad Reza Purzargari will attend the Friday forum. Also Mohammad Kazem Mohammadzadeh and Tariq Abdul Basit will join the discussion via telephone.
Born in a small village in southern Egypt in 1927, Abdul Basit Abdussamad was one of the most renowned Quran reciters ever.
