French politician describes Netanyahu as leader of war criminals

AhlulBayt News Agency: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a terrorist leader heading an army of war criminals, says a French politician.

In a post on his X account on Wednesday, Thomas Portes condemned the Israeli regime’s strikes on Iran, emphasizing that the strikes on Iran are illegal under international law.

He also said that the concept of preemptive war does not exist and urged the French government to withdraw its support for the Israeli aggression against Iran.

“If U.S. President Donald Trump joins this criminal enterprise, as appears to be taking shape, France must remain true to its history of promoting peace,” Portes wrote.

The left-wing politician had earlier reacted to claims made by Israel’s Ambassador to France Aliza Bin-Noun, who alleged that the regime does not target civilians, noting that more than 60 Iranian civilians lost their lives.

The Israeli regime initiated its aggression against Iran early Friday, killing military commanders, scientists, and civilians in various cities across the Islamic nation.
