Two Inland mosques will participate Sunday in the annual Southern California Open Mosque Day.

The Islamic Center of Riverside, 1038 W. Linden St. in Riverside, and the Islamic Society of Corona-Norco, 465 Santana Way, will welcome visitors from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The mosques are among at least 10 Southern California Islamic centers participating in the 7th annual event.

Visitors will be able to learn more about Muslims and Islam from clergy and laypeople, tour the mosque and view religious artifacts and sample traditional food. The event helps dispel myths about Muslims and Islam, organizers said.
