AhlulBayt News Agency: Israeli occupation forces carried out two massacres on Wednesday, targeting families in the northern and central Gaza Strip. The attacks resulted in the deaths of 17 civilians, including children and women, according to medical sources.
In the Saftawi neighborhood, north of Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike hit the home of the Al-Arbid family, killing eight members, including journalist Osama Al-Arbid, and injuring others.
Sources reported that six members of the Aqeelan family were killed in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, after their home was struck by an Israeli warplane.
Additionally, two citizens lost their lives due to Israeli shelling and gunfire in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza. Another young man was killed by Israeli drone fire in the town of Al-Fakhari, east of the city.
On Tuesday evening, three more civilians were killed and dozens wounded by Israeli forces' gunfire west of Rafah, in southern Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli military operations in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of 54,056 civilians, the majority of whom are women and children. Another 123,129 people have been injured. Many victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, unreachable by ambulances and rescue teams.
