AhlulBayt News Agency - The Russian Air Force has come to the aid of the government forces in southern Aleppo after the takfiri rebels of Jaysh Al-Islam reached the 1070 Al-Hamadaniyah Housing Project near the Al-‘Amariyah District.
A military source in Aleppo city reported that the Russian Air Force joined the battle for southern Aleppo after the jihadist rebels reached the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) front-lines inside the 1070 Housing Project tonight.
The source added that the Russian Air Force has bombarded several sites under takfiris control, including the Al-‘Amariyah, Hikmah School, Al-Ramouseh, and Sheikh Sa’eed.
Meanwhile, inside the 1070 Housin Project, intense firefights are still ongoing between the Syrian Armed Forces and takfiri rebels, as the latter continues their large-scale offensive tonight.
The loss of Al-‘Amariyah comes nearly 18 months after the Syrian Armed Forces reentered this district in Aleppo’s southern sector.
