For the first time in the month of July, the Russian Air Force has carried out a significant number of airstrikes over the southern Aleppo countryside.
According to the sources, the Russian Air Force carried out a large number of airstrikes over the jihadist controlled villages of Khalsah, Zorba, and Khan Touman.
These airstrikes over southern Aleppo reportedly killed several jihadist rebels from Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group), Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, and Faylaq Al-Sham Currently, a large number of IRGC (Iranian Army), Hezbollah commandos, and Iraqi paramilitary fighters are positioned in southern Aleppo; however, they have yet to make any attempt to recapture the territory they lost in late May and early June.
