AhlulBayt News Agency - Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Commander Samir Avazeh was martyred in heavy clashes with the Takfiri terrorist groups in Northern Syria.
Avazeh was martyred while defending Syria against the Takfiri terrorists in Aleppo province.
Now, an Hezbollah representative has also confirmed his death; however, the official version states his death occurred after illness at a hospital in Lebanon.
Haj Samir was a close friend of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah himself, often advising him on political matters. Despite unclear circumstances regarding his death, both sides seem to agree that Haj Sameer Ali Avazeh is deceased.
Hezbollah commander Haj Sameer Ali Avazeh participated in a number of battles since the Lebanese paramilitary group first entered the Syrian war in Qusayr, 2013. However, his whereabouts have been unbeknownst for a while to the general public.
In mid May, Hezbollah lost its senior military chief Mustafa Badreddin was martyred in a strike near the international airport in Damascus and held a military funeral for the senior commander in Beirut.
Initial media reports blamed the Israeli regime for the death of Hezbollah's military chief. However, the movement said in a statement that investigations showed that Badreddin was killed by Takfiri terrorist groups operating against the Syrian government.
Hezbollah fighters are combating alongside the Syrian forces against terrorist groups operating in the war-ravaged Arab country, including the ISIL and the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front.

Badreddin directed military operations against the Israeli invasion of Lebanon and was a frequent target of attempts by Israel, the US and its allies in the Middle East to assassinate or capture him.
