AhlulBayt News Agency - The Syrian Air Force continued to pound the ISIS positions in the west Raqqa countryside on Wednesday night, striking the aforementioned terrorist group at several sites along the Salamiyah-Raqqa Highway.
These airstrikes by the Syrian Air Force proved highly effective as their ground forces in Ithriya were given a necessary reprieve from the ISIS counter-offensive in the western countryside of the Al-Raqqa Governorate.
According to a military source at the Hama Airport, the Syrian Air Force specifically targeted the ISIS positions at the village of Albu Allaj, along with the latter’s presence along the Tabaqa-Anbaj and Anbaj-Albu Allaj roads.
The airstrikes reportedly killed a large number of ISIS terrorists, including several foreign combatants.
