AhlulBayt News Agency - Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, among experts on religious questions, and cultural Service Assistants of Razavi Illuminated Shrine, said, “The main mission of Astan Quds Razavi is cultural affairs and also promotion of Quranic and the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) teachings, particularly Razavi conduct.
Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, at this meeting, which coincided with the 13th night of holy month of Ramadan, and was attended by 250 experts on religious questions, and a hundred of cultural Service Assistants of Razavi Holy Shrine, stated creating a peaceful atmosphere for the pilgrims, as one of the main concerns of Astan Quds Razavi, and said, “Establishing this calmness, demands the important affair of answering religious questions, and meeting the canonical concerns of pilgrims.”
“Responding religious issues, should as strong and available in Razavi Holy Shrine to the extent that every pilgrim who demanded to eliminate his/her doubts, not to leave this heavenly sanctuary without receiving a response and beholding his/her doubts” he reiterated.
“Sheer responsiveness without effective communication with the pilgrim, will not be desirable and effective at all. What causes the guidance and promotion of Islamic culture is effective communication and the impact of the words of religious scholars, and without this impact of words, religious guidance will be futile” member of the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership reminded, mentioning finding peace and relieving anxiety, very effective to increase the attractions of pilgrimage.
Science Pursuit Is Not Important; One Should Seek Prayer
“Sheer pursuit of science is not important and valuable, because if someone pursues science, but deprive himself from humility and prayer, his words will not certainly be effective and will not influence the hearts. The secret of the impact of Imam Khomeini (R.A.) words on righteous hearts and natures, is the same humility and strong faith of that great man” member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary uttered, calling scholars with humility and prayer, the guides of communities.
“Astan Quds Razavi, thanks to the Holy Grave of Imam Reza (A.S.), has unique capabilities in the promotion of Islamic culture and influencing the hearts, which we should take advantage of this capacity effectively and actively” he continued.
Qualitative and Quantitative Development of Cultural Affairs
“Many religious response centers are active all over the country; however, which one has the responsiveness position in the Illuminated Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.)? We should not ignore the natural and divine effects of this heavenly courtyard, and, therefore, the qualitative and quantitative development of cultural affairs, and in particular responding religious questions, has been put on the agenda” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi stated, mentioning that the basis of the work of Astan Quds Razavi is on the qualitative and quantitative development of cultural space, religious responsiveness and eliminating doubts.
“We should not limit ourselves only to the Holy Shrine space or Mashhad, but we must move toward the direction which exploits this spiritual potential at the level of the Islamic world” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi explained, emphasizing the utilization of new facilities and tools in this regard.
“The development created in responding to religious questions in Ramadan also continues after this month and even will also increase and spread” he explained, pointing to an increase in working hours of the center of responding religious questions in Razavi Holy Shrine during the holy month of Ramadan.
Economic Activities, Underlying Cultural Activities
“Without doubt, economic activities are not the main mission of Astan Quds Razavi; however, they are performed with the aim of paving the way for cultural and religious affairs, and this is the same mission that Hazrat Samen al-Hujaj Ali Ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.) followed during his blessed life” Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi in another part of his speech mentioned, pointing to the wide and varied activities of Astan Quds Razavi, and saying that the various measures are in line with paving the way for the realization of cultural objectives.
“The radius of cultural activities of Razavi Holy Shrine should not be limited to this Shrine or the holy city of Mashhad. This clear source and promotion center of the conduct of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) must be spread in all Islamic Iran first, and then, throughout the Islamic world, and it must have cultural domination” he said, mentioning three primary missions of Astan Quds Razavi as cultural affairs, pilgrim-orientation, and paying attention to the needy and the deprived.
Cultural Products of Astan Quds Razavi Are Unsurpassed in the World
“All the enthusiasts and lovers of this great Imam should benefit from this sun and effusive spring of knowledge through waves of media, and in order to realize that, using modern and various methods is important” board member of the Assembly of Experts noted, describing the cultural programs and production of Astan Quds Razavi as unsurpassed in Islam world.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, emphasizing that the conditions and space must be provided in order to convey the message and the words of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) pointed to the importance of cultural active measures, avoiding passivity, ignorance, and also tolerance and indulgence in this field and expressed, “Cultural active presence means that before doubt is casted, we seek to fight doubts by consolidating the intellectual and thought foundations of Islam in society.”
“Passive movement in the field of culture means that first, by negligence, we allow the enemy to cast doubt, and then, by spending the capital, energy, and money we try to fix it” he said, explaining the cultural passivity.
Religious Scholars Soothe the Society
“Intellectuals, scientists, and religious scholars, who change the social anxiety and volatility into peace and calmness, are the steady rocks maintaining the peace of the society and the stability of the pure Islamic values” member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary of Khorasan in the final part of his speech stated, explaining the role of the religious scholars in making mental peace in the society.
“What has happened in the field of culture in this heavenly Court, without doubt has been very good and valuable; however, what should be realized and achieved next, requires jihadi and greater effort” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi said, considering the active movement and far from the ignorant reactions as central strategy of the cultural measures of Astan Quds Razavi.
At the beginning of this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Jalal Husseini, Deputy of Advertising and Islamic Communications of Astan Quds Razavi, presented a brief report of the performance of his respective department and noted, “Astan Quds Razavi with regard of Imam Reza (A.S.) and in the light of the authority and power of Islamic government, today, is one of the influential centers in the area of promotion of Islamic teachings and Razavi conduct.”
Following, several experts of responding religious questions in the Holy Shrine, expressed their opinions and suggestions, and at the end, also the experts responding religious questions and cultural Service Assistants of Razavi Holy Shrine broke their fasts at Razavi munificent banquet.
