AhlulBayt News Agency - The New Chinese Ambassador in Iraq, Chen Wetching expressed his happiness visiting the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) and seeing its historical and holy sites.
After a tour accompanying the official of the Public Relations Department, the ambassador said ‘I am honored visiting the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) and I do respect and love the Iraqi people.’
‘There are about 23 millions of Muslims in China. They play an important role in building the country as well as consolidating the bonds of friendship with Arabic and Islamic countries and peoples.
My job is to consolidate the relations between Iraq and China. It is also to consolidate the mutual communication with regard to the cultural matters. I will do my best to do my job to the fullest,’ he added.
