AhlulBayt News Agency - Mahmoud al-Zahhar, member of Hamas’s political bureau, on Tuesday denied rumors that he condemned the Lebanese Hezbollah party during an interview with al-Sharq Qatari newspaper.
The Qatari newspaper published a statement on behalf of the Hamas senior leader Zahhar saying that “We strongly condemn Hezbollah's interference in Syria, and we do not bear the responsibility for Hezbollah’s faults. As for our support to Hezbollah when it was fighting Israel in the southern suburbs, it was because we had a mutual interest of resisting Israel”.
Hamas Movement has continuously been repeating its denial of interference at any level in the affairs of other countries and regional conflicts.
