AhlulBayt News Agency - Gaza municipality planted 3000 saplings in January and February this year in the parks, streets, and governmental institutions in the city of Gaza.
Muntaser Shehada, head of gardening unit at the municipality, said that the planting works included cutting of trees in public parks and main streets which may affect the vision of drivers. Cleaning of parks and repairing irrigation nets were also implemented in the project, he added.
Shehada pointed out that the municipality, by implementing this project, aims at maintaining healthy and clean environment and providing green landscapes in the city.
