Head of ISIS Court in Iraq’s Tel Afar killed

Hisham Hussein Shakhbalar al-Afri, leading member of ISIS and head of the Sharia Court in Tel Afar, was reported dead along with Taha Muhammad Nur Qazzan, chief of al-Hisba branch, in a coalition airstrike, an Iraqi security source said.

“Also, 11 escorts of the two officials were killed in the raid that targeted their convoy in Tel Afar,” the source said, under the condition of anonymity.

In the meantime, warplanes of the western coalition hit an ISIS weapons storage facility in the vicinity of Tel Afar, according to ISIS-linked sources.
