Ahlul Bayt News Agency - The Kurdish Peshmerga forces shelled the so-called Islamic State (IS) militants’ positions in Telskof frontline, north of Mosul; killing over 20 insurgents and injuring further more.
Peshmerga Commander Tariq Sleman said that the Peshmerga artillery forces shelled IS positions in Hasan-Jallad, Khalil-Haja, Kani-Shirin, Kavrok and Filfl villages around Telskof on Saturday 18th July.
Sleman revealed that over 20 terrorists were killed, more injured and their facilities were destroyed by the Peshmerga.
The Peshmerga, backed by the international coalition forces, have so far successfully drove IS insurgents back from the Kurdish areas. They are protecting a 1,050 kilometres-long frontline against the fake jihadists.
Kurdish officials have previously announced that more than 95% of Kurdistan region territories have been taken back form the extremists.
