Amid U.S. threats against Iran, the unveiling of the IRGC’s missile city located 500 meters underground has garnered widespread attention in international media. These outlets described Iran's new missile city as a “dormant volcano” capable of becoming operational in the shortest time possible.

Ahul Bayt (AS) News Agency - ABNA: The unveiling of the Islamic Republic of Iran's new missile city has drawn huge attention from media around the world.

The American network CNN reported on the unveiling of Iran’s new missile city, stating: "Iranian media has reported the production of a new special missile."

Referring to the images released from this underground facility, CNN noted that the commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force described the newly unveiled missile city as a "dormant volcano." It also mentioned that Iran has utilized this base against Israel in operations during October and April.

CNN also mentioned the IRGC commander’s statements, writing: “Iran is constructing a new special missile. Iran aims to demonstrate its power.”

The American network Sky News also referred to the unveiling of this missile city and cited remarks by General Hajizadeh, the IRGC commander, who stated last year: “If we start unveiling a missile city every week from today, these unveilings would continue for two more years.”

The weekly Newsweek described the displayed missiles as "gigantic," remarking: “This is the third facility to be revealed in less than a month and it reflects Iran's increasing military capabilities amid rising tensions with the United States and Israel.”

The Saudi network Al Arabiya reported: “Iran's decision to unveil its new missile capabilities before Donald Trump’s inauguration sends a clear message to the West.”

The English news outlet First Post published an article titled “'Dormant volcano': Iran unveils underground drone & missle cities as tensions escalate in West Asia,” stating: “Amid the ongoing tension in West Asia, Iran has unveiled an underground missile storage facility.”

The outlet further noted: “Iran has utilized this missile city in two operations against Israel.”

The British publication Daily Rap reported: “Simultaneously with the unveiling of Iran’s new missile city named 'Dormant Volcano,' local media stated that this volcano could become active in the shortest possible time.”

This publication also quoted the Jerusalem Post, published in the occupied territories, citing: “Israeli forces are concerned about the imminent possibility of an Iranian attack on Israel. Should Iran choose to attack, it would mark their third direct assault on Israel.”

Russian news agency Sputnik termed this missile city as “remarkable”.

The Jerusalem Post, in a separate article, examined the missiles present in the "Dormant Volcano" missile city, stating: “One of the missiles showcased in this facility is the Qadr missile, a long-range surface-to-surface missile first revealed in 2007. The Qadr missile features a modular warhead capable of carrying multiple bombs.”
