AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A Shia couple in Afghanistan donated their wedding expenses for buying winter clothes for needy people specially children.
In a very good and appreciatory move, a Shia couple in the Bamyan province of Afghanistan spent their wedding expenses on buying and distributing winter clothes for the country's child and laborers.
The total cost of the couple's wedding was 28,300 Afghanis, a part of which was used to purchase winter clothes for at least 10 child laborers and 15 other needy workers.
The couple describe this good work as the fight against the wasteful traditions in wedding ceremonies in Afghanistan.
They also mentioned that their aim was to show that it is possible to create opportunities for young couples to marry with a low budget.
They believe that instead of spending huge amounts on wedding celebrations, it is better to help the needy people.
This initiative serves as an inspiration, showing that small steps for goodness and humanity can bring about significant change.
