AhlulBayt News Agency: During his visit to Imam Reza Shrine, in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad, a Yemeni artist created a work of art centering on the achievements and bravery of Yemeni fighters.
According to Amir Khaleqi, the Director of Communications and Information Department at Astan Quds Razavi, Kamal Sharif, a renowned Yemeni cartoonist, was invited to Mashhad upon learning of his visit to Iran.
Khaleqi stated that the Yemeni artist, during his pilgrimage to the shrine created an artwork depicting recent events in Yemen and the bravery of Yemeni fighters. “The artwork illustrates the targeting of an American aircraft carrier by Yemeni armed forces, which led to the carrier leaving the region”.
Khaleqi added that this was Sharif's first visit to the shrine. Despite suffering from diabetes for years, Sharif visited the shrine's teahouse, where he was served with blessed tea and sugar, seeking healing.
Khaleqi also mentioned that after gaining spiritual blessings and the opportunity to visit the shrine, Sharif enjoyed a meal from the blessed table of Imam Reza at the shrine's guesthouse.
