AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Foreign Ministry Spokesperson expressed condolences for the martyrdom of Dawood Bitarf, a local employee at the Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in Damascus, who was martyred by terrorists on Sunday morning. This criminal act was strongly condemned.
Esmail Baghaei noted that Bitarf's body has recently been discovered, identified, and returned to the country.
He emphasized the responsibility of the Syrian transitional government to identify, prosecute, and punish those responsible for this crime.
Baghaei added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pursuing the case through diplomatic channels.
