َAhlulBayt News Agency: Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya received on Friday a phone call from Malaysian former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.
The Malaysian veteran politician affirmed his supportive position regarding the Palestinian people and their rights to resistance and liberation of the Israeli occupation. He called what is happening in Gaza a genocide against the Palestinian people being carried out according to a systematic strategy to kill as many Palestinians as possible in order to liquidize the Palestinian cause.
For his part, the Hamas leader hailed Mahathir Mohamad’s stances in support of the Palestinian people as well as the supportive position of the Malaysian people with Palestinians.
During the conversation, Haneyya explained the disastrous situation in the besieged Gaza Strip due to the Israeli ongoing awful crimes of murder and terrorism against the people in Gaza. He also called on the international community to put pressure on Israel to halt the genocide and allow the entry of the humanitarian urgent needs into the blockaded enclave.
The Hamas leader reiterated that what took place on October 7 came as a result of the Israeli repetitive crimes and offensive policies against the Palestinian people, their land and sacred places.
