Israeli enemy forces blows up Palestinian prisoner's family house

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blew up the family house of prisoner Islam Al-Faroukh in the Old City of Ramallah, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes at dawn on Thursday.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blew up the family house of prisoner Islam Al-Faroukh in the Old City of Ramallah, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes at dawn on Thursday.

Local sources confirmed that the IOF blew up the 250-sq apartment, which is located in a four-story residential building housing the prisoner's parents and his four sisters, as part of its collective punishment policy.

Islam Al-Faroukh, who holds the Al-Quds ID, was detained on December 27, 2022, under the pretext of his participation in two anti-occupation operations that resulted in the death of two Israelis last November.

Sources said that reinforced forces of the occupation army stormed the area before dawn today and closed all its entrances, cordoned off the neighborhood, and raided the house of the prisoner Islam Al-Faroukh, before digging inside the walls of the house for hours to plant the explosives.

Eyewitnesses said that violent confrontations broke out between the youths and Israeli occupation forces in the area, during which six people were wounded, including two journalists.
