AhlulBayt News Agency: The health condition of the Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan has been deteriorating as he continues his hunger strike for the 83th day on Friday.
Randa Mousa, Adnan’s wife, told the PIC that Adnan, who is held in the Ramleh prison clinic, didn’t appear via video conference during the hearing held by the Ofer military court yesterday.
“This reflects that his health condition is deteriorating,” Mousa underlined, pointing out that he lost consciousness four times during the previous hearing on Sunday.
Adnan’s wife asserted that he is kept alone in an unsanitary confinement cell despite his serious health condition, adding that he was not transferred to a civil hospital.
She affirmed that she will continue demanding the release of her husband and supporting his just case, calling on Palestinian masses to stand in solidarity with him until his release.
The Ofer court had postponed a hearing on a request filed to consider his health condition and give him an early release until next Sunday.
Adnan has been on hunger strike since he was arrested from his home, south of the West Bank city of Jenin, on the 5th of February 2023.
The 44-year-old Adnan, from Arraba town south of Jenin, is an ex-prisoner who spent about eight years in Israeli prisons, mostly held in administrative detention. He was arrested more than twelve times.
