"The mechanism for distributing food, medical, clothing and other materials needed by families affected by the earthquake lies in the names that come from the mukhtars of rural villages and cities, and then the names are submitted to the Municipal Council for scrutiny, and then the lists reach the governorate, and in coordination with the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine relief campaign, the requests of these families with all needs are met quickly,"Ehsan said.
"The relief campaign has so far helped more than 40 thousand families of those affected by the earthquake in Syria, in addition to the distribution of about 10 thousand meals in shelter centers ,"he said.
The member of the provincial council continued," the relief campaign launched by the Al-Abbas's (P)Shrine targets all rural villages in the province to cover as many affected families as possible,"noting that about 3 thousand food baskets are distributed daily.
