"We gave a lecture to the delegation about the history of the holy city of Karbala, the hussayni Renaissance and its philosophy, and the role of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in the survival of Islam and other religions in Muslim countries," said the director of the preventive media center of the media department; Mr. Jassam al-Saidi.
"Islam is a religion of tolerance and justice, and the reason for the survival of the religion is Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), who established these values, and without him there would not have remained a non-Muslim sect, whether Christian, Sabean or others in any Muslim country," he added.
For her part, Sahar Kamal, the head of the delegation, expressed her happiness at the visit of Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), stressing that "the visit came to strengthen the faith and affiliation and to see how the defense of the faith was on the ground," explaining that "the youth category was born and raised in the countries of the diaspora, but today we want to navigate the world of religion, so that we can face the difficulties and challenges in the countries of the West."
