Emirati arms shipment arrives in Yemen's Socotra port

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): An Emirati arms shipment arrived at the port of the occupied Socotra Island, southern Yemen, local sources reported on Friday.

Local sources in the island confirmed that an Emirati ship unloaded containers of weapons and dropped three military boats at the dock of Hadibu, the island’s capital.

The sources explained that the continued dispatch of weapons to the UAE militia, which is brought from Dhalea and Yafa, to counter the so-called arms smuggling done by Islah elements on the island.

Last week, Saudi forces left the island port and handed over their positions to UAE-backed militia.
