AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Rare books and historic manuscripts are being showcased in one of the sections of the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair in the United Arab Emirates, Raya reported.
At the Sharjah Book Fair, the cornerstone of ancient manuscripts and rare books is the center of interest of the audience.
Their historical and literary value is so great that they are kept in sealed glass boxes.
According to the Middle East, the version of the Holy Quran made of 24 carat gold water is very popular here, it is from the twelfth century AD, its gift has reached 500,000 euros.
Also on display is a handwritten Quran worked on a sheet of paper with dimensions of 100 in 60 cm. The letters are so delicate and small that can only be seen from close range.
At the Sharjah Book Fair, 31 works of art by international artist Pablo Picasso are also being liked by the fans, the price of which is set at 450,000 Euros.
A book about horses is also the focus of attention of the audience, it is decorated with pure water of 24 carats gold, a selection of rare manuscripts at the Sharjah Book Fair is being sold for one million 50 thousand Euros.
