3 deaths, 503 new cases within 24 hours in Palestine

Kaila indicated in a press release that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 73.1 percent while the rate of active infections was 26.3 percent, and the death rate was 0.6% of all infections.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA):  Mai Al-Kailah, the Minister of Health in Ramallah, announced on Wednesday that 3 deaths, 503 new infections with the coronavirus, and 819 recoveries were recorded after conducting 5,156 examinations during the past 24 hours in Palestine. However, no new data were received about the coronavirus infections from Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Kaila indicated in a press release that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 73.1 percent while the rate of active infections was 26.3 percent, and the death rate was 0.6% of all infections.

The new deaths were recorded for an 83-year-old female citizen from Bitlo, a male citizen, 90, from Ramallah, and another male citizen, 69, from al-Khalil.

The new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (150), Nablus (64), Bethlehem (79), Qalqiliya (24), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (18), and Jenin (14), Salfit (10), Jericho and Al Aghwar (11), Tulkarem (50), Tubas (2), Gaza Strip (73), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (8).

The minister said that new cases of recovery were recorded in: al-Khalil (123), Jenin (86), Tulkarem (22), Qalqilya (35), Nablus (171), Jericho and Al Aghwar (118), Salfit (7), Tubas (20), Gaza Strip (90), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (147).

Kailah indicated that there are 44 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 8 who have been placed on ventilators.
