AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Quran interpreters believe that 130 verses of the Holy Book are about Hazrat Zahra 9SA) and her family, an Islamic seminary scholar said.
Seyedeh Nazereh Mosuavi made the remark at a mourning program held at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, northeast Iran, on Wednesday night.
It was organized for Urdu-speaking women on the eve of the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA).
Mousavi said some of the verses about the great lady of Islam are in Surahs like Al-Kawthar, Al-Qadr and Al-Insan.
In Surah Al-Kawthar, God calls Hazrat Zahra (SA) Al-Kawthar, which means abundance and abundant good, she noted.
This indicates her sublime status, the seminary scholar went on to say.
Elsewhere at the program, which was held by the Astan Quds Razavi’s non-Iranian pilgrims department, there Tawasheeh (religious songs) performances and elegy recitations.
Shia Muslims and others in different parts of the world hold rituals every year on the third day of the month of Jumada al-Thani in the lunar Hijri calendar to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA), the beloved daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
