AhlulBayt News Agency: According to some military experts, the Israeli regime's army has been forced to change its strategy in southern Lebanon after witnessing the unimaginable resistance of Hezbollah forces.
The Zionist regime launched its ground invasion against Lebanon at the beginning of October 2024, but since then, it has not been able to occupy even one village in the country, as it has faced unimaginable resistance from Hezbollah forces.
According to Al Jazeera, during this period, at least 100 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Lebanon, and another 1,000 have been injured, and 43 Merkava tanks, eight bulldozers, and several advanced drones and other military equipment have been destroyed.
The Zionist regime had not previously imagined facing such resistance from Hezbollah forces, despite the assassination of the movement's prominent leaders. Based on the report, the Zionist military changed its tactics, bombing residential homes in southern Lebanon and quickly retreating to prevent further casualties, as the resistance forces' ambushes have been effective so far.
But why, after more than a month since the invasion began, have the Zionist military still not gained control of a single village?
Military experts believe that the Zionist regime's army, after facing the fierce resistance of Hezbollah forces, realized that it could not stay in Lebanese territory, and this move could inflict more casualties on the occupiers.
Thus, although the Zionists initially intended to penetrate deep into Lebanese territory to the Litani river, after seeing the resistance of Hezbollah forces, they changed their strategy and currently have only penetrated three kilometers into the country.
Zionist media often express concern in their analyses of the war in Gaza and Lebanon, stating that Lebanon has become a hole that swallows Zionist soldiers.
In this regard, Israel's Channel 12 television reported that, according to the statistics of the army's spokesperson, there is currently a shortage of more than 10,000 troops in the army, 7,500 of whom should serve in combat units.
This is while efforts to recruit Haredi Jews also have no chance of success.
"Roei Kais," the head of the Arabic section of the Kan 11 news network, says that Hezbollah in Lebanon still exists and continues its regular missile attacks.
Israel's Channel 13 television also reported that the big mistake of the new Israeli war minister was that, after a week of taking office, he announced that Israel had defeated Hezbollah. According to the report, another mistake was that he introduced the goal of the war as disarming Hezbollah, which will affect Hezbollah's positions in the current negotiations.
