AhlulBayt News Agency: A second French national has been killed in Lebanon as Israel continues its attacks in the country, according to France’s foreign ministry. The announcement came on Sunday, just as French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot arrived in Beirut for talks with local authorities and to deliver humanitarian aid to the country.

“We confirm the death of a second French national,” the foreign ministry said, withholding further details until later. This tragic news follows the death of an 87-year-old French woman last Monday, whose home collapsed after being targeted by an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon.

Violence continues to escalate as Israeli airstrikes intensify across the region. On Sunday, Lebanon’s Ministry of Health reported that 32 people were killed and 53 injured in an Israeli massacre in Ain al-Dilb, a neighborhood east of Saida in southern Lebanon. The airstrike targeted a building in the village of Al-Maghara, near the Al-Furqan mosque, causing the structure to collapse and resulting in significant casualties. The massacre was one among several other Israeli attacks across the country that left dozens of casualties.
