Home mourning ceremonies for AhlulBayt (a.s.) increase family bonds: Ayatollah Ramazani

Referring to the importance of holding home mourning ceremonies for AhlulBayt (a.s.), the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Home mourning ceremonies for AhlulBayt (a.s.) increase family bonds.”

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On Saturday afternoon, December 16, 2023, in a home mourning ceremony for Lady Zahra (a.s.) in Rasht, referring to the necessity of holding such a ceremony, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “Such mourning ceremonies during the year on different occasions can be a capacity to strengthen the family bonds.”

The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts said, “Holding home mourning ceremonies for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) has a long history in Iran, and they have been invested in. To hold as many such ceremonies as possible, it is necessary to study why they have great effects on families and neighborhoods.”

“Home mourning ceremonies for AhlulBayt (a.s.) increase family bonds,” he added, “Home mourning ceremony for AhlulBayt (a.s.) is very useful and effective in increasing knowledge of Islam.”

“Today, some families are suffering from much damage. The philosophy of the family is the perfection of man,” Ayatollah Ramazani continued.

“In the West, family means two people under one roof, regardless of whether they are men or women. Now they prescribe the same for Islamic countries,” said the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.

“We must try to change our perspective. If a human perspective prevails in the family and each other’s rights are respected, differences will decrease,” he emphasized.

“Different political views and false consumerism in the family are among the harms that families are dealing with,” noted the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“The family of Imam Ali (a.s.) and Lady Zahra (a.s.) was full of helping the poor, sacrifice, and selflessness,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, at the end of his speech.
