AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The secretary general of the Iraqi resistance movement Al-Nujaba has unveiled an unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) that can be controlled from a distance and hit sea targets.
“In line with our religious and human responsibility toward the brutal crimes committed by the Zionists against the Palestinian nation, we are unveiling an unmanned underwater vehicle designed by Al-Nujaba’s production and development unit,” the group’s office in Tehran said in a statement.
The statement pointed out that the vessel has a 500-kilometer range, describing it as one of its main qualities.
“We have once again renewed our pledge with our friends and we say to our enemies that just as our missiles were able to target you on the ground, our weapons at sea also have you within their range and none of your targets are out of our fire’s range,” it added.
Iraqi resistance groups have repeatedly targeted US-run bases in Iraq and neighboring Syria in the aftermath of the Zionist regime’s war on Gaza, for which they hold the United States responsible.
