AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani, in a message to Allameh Tabatabaei's Conference, stated,” Allameh Tabatabaei was an individual, but his works and blessings were effective for the entire Islamic Ummah in such a way that he has been honored by Ayatollah Boroujerdi (RA) and it is documented. “
Senior Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani, in a video message to the commemoration conference of Allameh Tabatabaei, which was held in Tabriz University's Hall, said,” Allameh Tabatabaei, this great scholar, jurist and commentator of the Islamic world, spread philosophical issues in the seminary, which until then had not been paid much attention to in the Islamic seminary.”
Stating that Allameh Tabatabaei is one of the rare figures in the seminary and academic settings, he said,” This great man and Allameh had the utmost influence in promoting Shiism in Islamic world.”
Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani further stated that Allameh Tabatabaei was the one who did the work of an ummah and added,” Such people have been praised many times in the divine word that in the world of humanity there are people who did the work of not one person but an ummah and society; Allameh Tabatabaei is one of the examples of these divine verses.”
This Shia source of emulation continued,” Allameh Tabatabai was apparently an individual, but his works and achievements were effective for the entire Islamic Ummah, in such a way that many times he has been honored by different scholars including Ayatollah Boroujerdi (RA) and it is documented.”
He introduced Al-Mizan Quran interpretation as one of the lasting and innovative works in the Islamic world in which Allameh solved the problems of some verses with reference to other Quranic verses and documented many hadiths using the same verses, which is a very difficult and complex task.”
The Senior Scholar further stated that bringing the science of philosophy in seminaries from a complicated state to a tangible state is among the most important actions of Allameh Tabatabai in the present era and added,” He explained very complex philosophical, interpretive and mystical issues in a very simple way in very short phrases. He interpreted and explained great concepts.”
Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani listed the adaptation of narrative issues with Quranic verses as one of Allameh Tabatabai's distinguished scientific features and stated,” He extended and developed the Persian essay writing to the seminaries.”
