AhlulBayt News Agency: The general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine is making its preparations to hold its special celebration of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him).
The head of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine; Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, said that "the Al-Abbas's(p) shrine continues its preparations to hold the annual celebration of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and has held a meeting with representatives of the relevant departments in order to prepare optimally for this occasion".
"The meeting included discussing the development of some events of the celebration this year, including the announcement of the Arabic Calligraphy Competition and the recitation of poems and other activities, as well as the traveling celebrations scheduled to be organized by the Al-Kafeel Scout Association,"he added.
The Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine is keen to commemorate the occasions of the birth anniversaries of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) inside and outside Iraq, through several events and celebrations commensurate with the occasion.
