AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Grand Mufti of Oman urged all Muslim Ummah to stand with the Palestinian nation in countering the Israeli regime’s aggression.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad al-Khalili wrote in a post on his Twitter account that the entire Muslim Ummah should support the Palestinian resistance and praise their efforts in confrontation with the Zionists’ aggression.
He refers to Verse 272 of Surah Al-Baqarah, “Whatever you spend for the cause of God is for your own good, provided you do not spend anything but to please God. For anything good that you may give for the cause of God, you will receive sufficient reward and no injustice will be done to you,” and urged Muslims to provide what Palestinians need, including requirements for treating those wounded during the recent Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
At least 33 Palestinians were killed and nearly 150 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza earlier this month.
Over the past months, Israel has ramped up attacks on Palestinian towns and cities throughout the occupied territories.
As a result of these attacks, dozens of Palestinians have lost their lives and many others have been arrested.
Most of the raids have been into the cities of Nablus and Jenin, where Israeli forces have been trying to stifle a growing Palestinian resistance against occupation.
