AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A group of foreign guests from Bahrain visited and talked with Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli at his house on Tuesday, May 16.
Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli said in this meeting,” We should always ask God to “stabilize our souls" in order to remain steadfast in our divine path.”
The senior cleric further noted,” Imam al-Sajjad (PBUH) said in a statement: Bad for those whose sins outweigh their good deeds, considering that every sin has one punishment, but every good deed has ten rewards, Imam Sajjad (PBUH) is referring that you should not be like this so that on the Day of Judgment your sins will be more than your good deeds!
He stated,” Sometimes a person does a good deed and gets at least 10 times the reward, this is normal, but one time he does a good deed from the very beginning and says he will do this good deed to stabilize his situation, I do not slip to the end.”
The Grand Ayatollah concluded by saying,” It is stated in Surah Al-Baqarah that if you do a good deed, your intention from the very beginning should be to remain steadfast and not slip until the end, not to do a good deed so that later God will grant me something. No! I consider this good deed as the water that I pour into my roots to remain steadfast.”
