AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Gaza-based resistance movements have continued to fire barrages of rockets toward the Israeli occupied territories, with the Zionist regime declaring that it has been targeted with 1,099 rockets and mortars as of Tuesday.
According to reports, the Palestinian resistance launched rockets from the northern Gaza Strip toward the illegal Israeli settlements.
The retaliatory strikes, which came hours after Israeli aircraft bombed targets in the coastal strip, set off sirens and sent Zionist settlers in border areas running for bomb shelters.
The Israeli military announced that as of 8 a.m. on Saturday, 1,099 rockets and mortars were launched from the Gaza Strip toward the occupied territories. This is while the occupying regime’s missile systems intercepted only 340 of the rockets, as several landed within towns and caused extensive damage.
Saturday marked the fifth consecutive day of relentless Israeli onslaught against the Gaza Strip. Through the air raids, the Zionist regime assassinated several commanders of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance movement.
