AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a message, Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani, a member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, expressed his condolences on the demise of Dr. Emad Afroogh.
The message is as follows:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَنْتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا * لِيَجْزِيَ اللَّهُ الصَّادِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ إِنْ شَاءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Among the faithful are men who fulfill what they have pledged to Allah: there are some among them who have fulfilled their pledge, and some of them who still wait, and they have not changed in the least, * that Allah may reward the true for their truthfulness, and punish the hypocrites, if He wishes, or accept their repentance. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. (Holy Quran, Surah: Al-Ahzab, Verses: 23 and 24)
The beacon of Dr. Emad Afrough’s material life went out at the dawn of Qadr Night so that the beams of his scientific and cultural life might be appreciated.
He, whose whole being was full of a passion arising from consciousness for the revival of divine values, and his entire life was an honest effort to preserve the foundations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, left us in the sad state of losing a truth-seeker intellectual.
I offer my condolences on the demise of this truth-seeker scholar to all intellectuals, thinkers, and those who sympathize with lofty ideals, especially his respected family, and I ask Almighty God for the deceased to be reunited with the Infallible and Immaculate AhlulBayt (a.s.), and for all his bereaved family members and enthusiasts, I ask for patience with determination, and endless reward.
