AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On the occasion of International Quds Day, the Assembly of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Lovers of Afghanistan issued a statement.
The statement is as follows:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلًا مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى الَّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Immaculate is He who carried His servant on a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque whose environs We have blessed, that We might show him some of Our signs. Indeed, He is the All-hearing, the All-seeing. (Holy Quran, Surah: Al-Isra', Verse: 1)
Al-Aqsa Mosque is a place where the Almighty God has blessed it and its surroundings, and this holy land, which was the place where the prophet invited people to Allah, has been given the title of Quds. It is the place where the Messenger of God went from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa for his heavenly and divine journey, and from there he began his ascension to God and ascended (Isra and Mi’raj).
Al-Quds is the base of the invitation of divine prophets and the place of purity, and it should be a land of peace, purity, intimacy, friendship, and love between human society and the followers of divine religions. With the establishment of the Zionist state in the Palestinian land by the treacherous conspiracy of the Western countries, the Quds land became a place of war, violence, massacre, occupation, spreading hatred, endangering and seriously threatening world peace, and in fact, has constituted crimes against humanity.
During the past decades, indescribable oppressions, atrocities, and massacres, which the memory of history can neither record nor enumerate, have been committed by the Zionist occupation regime against the Palestinian Muslim nation and caused migration, displacement, and the longest migration period of a nation.
Although, according to its international commitments, the Zionist regime should not interfere in the affairs of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is a place of worship for Muslims, unfortunately, in recent days, we have witnessed the armed attack of the Zionist soldiers on the worshipers in the Mosque, threatening its closure.
In addition to condemning the establishment and conspiratorial support of the Jewish regime by arrogant and domineering governments, the Assembly of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Lovers of Afghanistan strongly denounces the crimes against humanity committed by the Zionist regime throughout history, particularly the recent barbaric and violent attacks by the Israeli soldiers on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the worshipers there.
Also, while expressing gratitude and appreciation to the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) and salutations to his soul for dedicating the last Friday each year as the Quds Day to express sympathy and solidarity with the Palestinian people, the Assembly of AhlulBayt (a.s.) Lovers of Afghanistan calls on all Muslims around the world to declare their solidarity and support for the oppressed nation of Palestine in any way possible for them, from participating in the Quds Day march to issuing statements, or other ways possible for them, and with a loud cry declare their anger and hatred against the occupation regime of Al-Quds, which has taken world peace hostage.
