AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The soul of Palestine; that’s the name of this art exhibition which has been held in the Russian capital, Moscow, to remember the Palestinian catastrophe, Nakba.
The international artists displaying their art here have picked up their brushes in an attempt to relive the painful history. They tried to send a heartwarming message to Palestinians whose pain and suffering seem to be never-ending even 75 years after the disaster.
Most of the artists participating in this event have never set a foot in al-Quds or any other Palestinian city. But the recountments of the brutal and murderous crimes committed against Palestinians have prompted them to do something.
They cannot put on combat boots and fight the occupiers, but they do their best to keep the memories of a free Palestine alive. They hope that a new era of resistance can help Palestinians return to their lands.
The works presented in the exhibition bring visitors closer to the history of Palestine, revealing many facts about the Israeli regime, including its attempts to erase the history of Palestine. Paintings also shed light of attachment of the Palestinian people to their land.
