AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a message, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Syria expressed condolences on the martyrdom of Milad Heydari and Meqdad Mehghani, two Iranian military advisors, in the attack of the Zionist regime’s fighters on the outskirts of Damascus.
The message is as follows:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
“Do not suppose those who were slain in the way of Allah to be dead; no, they are living and provided for near their Lord,” (Holy Quran, Surah: Al Imran, Verse: 169)
In the holy month of Ramadan, when souls reach communion with their Lord by supplication, the souls of the martyrs, along with the prophets and the righteous, and their other companions, ascended next to their beloved, the Almighty God. On the most blessed and sweetest days, the souls of martyrs Milad Heydari and Meqdad Mahghani ascended to heaven.
In the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Syria, we offer our most sincere congratulations to the relatives of these two martyrs and their friends for their joining the caravan of martyrs. We emphasize our insistence on continuing the path until the oppression on the oppressed is lifted and the flag of freedom, independence, and victory is raised everywhere in Quds, as well as all the occupied Islamic lands. Indeed, victory is with the martyr-nurturing nation.

On Friday, March 31, 2023, around 00:17 local time, the Zionist regime fighter jets, firing several missiles from the occupied Golan, attacked targets in the outskirts of Damascus. During the attack, Milad Heydari and Mogdad Mehghani, two military advisers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Syria, were martyred.
