AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The al-Nujaba Movement strongly condemned the desecration of the Holy Qur’an by the soldiers of the Ukrainian army and asked the Muslims and governments to responsibly defend the sacredness of revelation and put the revision of relations with Kyiv at the top of their agenda.
According to the website of the representative office of al-Nujaba in Iran – The al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement, in response to the heinous act of Ukrainian soldiers in desecrating and burning the Holy Qur’an, issued a statement of condemnation and clarified, “Muslims in different parts of the world, with regret, pain and anger, witness the attack of Ukrainian soldiers on the sanctity of the Book of God (the Holy Qur’an).”
While emphasizing that “Islamic sanctities are more precious than life and property and anything valuable,” al-Nujaba condemned the psychotic behaviour of the Ukrainian soldiers and noted, “This action is caused by the abhorrent culture of the despicable puppet of the United States and Zionism [Zelensky], which along with his people, resort to obscene methods to gain the support of the enemies of Islam and humanity.”
In the aforementioned statement, pointing out that “more than one billion Muslims consider the Ukrainian president’s cronies responsible for this heinous act,” it is announced, “The al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement calls on all Islamic people and governments to react responsibly in defence of the sacredness of the revelation, and perhaps they should put the reconsideration their relations and positions with the Ukrainian government at the top of their agenda.”
In conclusion, the al-Nujaba Movement asked the people and the government of Iraq to be pioneers and take a firm position against this hateful act.
