Sayyed Nasrallah: Palestine without ‘Israel’ an inevitable fact

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah stressed on Friday that having Palestine liberated from ‘Israel’ is not a dream but rather an inevitable fact.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah stressed on Friday that having Palestine liberated from ‘Israel’ is not a dream but rather an inevitable fact.

In a televised speech addressing memorial ceremony of Hezbollah commander Assad Saghir (Hajj Saleh), Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that latest developments in the Zionist entity are historic, citing concerns expressed by Israeli leaders over the existence of ‘Israel’.

His eminence affirmed in this context that the Axis of Resistance is fully ready to engage in a battle to liberate Palestine from the sea to the river.

Meanwhile, Sayyed Nasrallah said that Syria lies in the heart of the Axis of Resistance, stressing that Lebanon’s security is of Syria’s and Palestine’s security.

On the other hand, the Hezbollah S.G. said that several Arab states don’t mind to normalize ties with Syria, but note that the United States works to hinder such moves.

Sayyed Nasrallah hailed all resistance commanders, stressing that all victories and achievements secured throughout years have been by virtue of their sacrifices.

Sayyed Nasrallah praised commander Assad Saghir as one of Hezbollah’s veterans who joined the ranks of the resistance at young age. His eminence repeatedly referred to the commander by his alias “Hajj Saleh”.

The resistance leader said “Hajj Saleh” was a devoted commander who spent his life in this Jihadi path until he passed away last week due to cancer.

Sayyed Nasrallah said that “Hajj Saleh” had major role in defending Sayyed Zeinab Shrine in Damascus and in fighting the Takfiri terrorists across entire Syria. He also played role in retrieving bodies of Hezbollah martyrs who fell in Syria and in busting networks of Israeli spies in Lebanon.

“All victories, achievements secured throughout years have been by virtue of sacrifices offered by commanders like Hajj Saleh,” Sayyed Nasrallah said, via Al-Manar.

Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that Lebanon is widely affected by events taking place in the region, especially in neighboring Syria and Palestine.

“It’s our moral, national and religious responsibility to be concerned with developments in Syria and Palestine.”

“Syria has been and will remain major power in the Axis of Resistance. During the universal war which was waged against Syria it was offered that Damascus abandon its role in the Axis of Resistance but it refused.”

Meanwhile, Sayyed Nasrallah dismissed reports propagated by pro-US media that Iran has influence in Syria.

“Such reports are fabricated. Syria’s sovereignty is maintained and Iran’s role in Syria is limited to advising mission and support.”

His eminence noted that Syria has been targeted over its rejection to subdue to Washington, adding that the US is going ahead with its blockade and aggression against the Arab country.

“The United States is the real enemy of Syria,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.

Sayyed Nasrallah pointed to intentions by several Arab states to normalize ties with Syria, but stressed that such moves are hindered by the US.

The Hezbollah S.G. described latest developments in occupied Palestine as historic and significant.

“All Israeli leaders have voiced concern over the current political conflict in the Zionist entity. They are apprehensive that their so-called “Zionist dream” is over,” Sayyed Nasrallah said, noting that talks in ‘Israel’ now are about the “third ravage,” his eminence said, referring to mass Israeli protests against Zionist government’s planned judicial overhaul.

“Axis of Resistance is sincere and fully ready to engage in the battle to liberate Palestine from the sea to the river.”

“Imagine if Palestine is without ‘Israel’… It’s not a dream but rather an inevitable fact Inshallah,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.

On the other hand, the Hezbollah leader hailed acts of resistance in the West Bank, saying that Palestinian operations against Israeli occupation make the history of Palestine.

In this context, his eminence underlined importance of offering all kinds of support to Palestinian resistance.

Sayyed Nasrallah then pointed to news emerging on restoring ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia, stressing that such rapprochement will serve the interest of the region’s countries.

“An Iranian-Saudi rapprochement won’t be at the expense of Yemen, Syria and the resistance.”

Furthermore, Sayyed Nasrallah said that Hezbollah has already proclaimed support for a Lebanese presidential hopeful, stressing that this move is not aimed against any local side.

“It’s a natural step that paves the way for the electoral process to take place,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.

In his context, he noted that no sect can impose a candidate, stressing that any parliamentary bloc can announce support to a certain presidential hopeful.

“We don’t have to wait for foreign powers to intervene, but rather we must cooperate in a bid to elect a new president,” Sayyed Nasrallah concluded.
