AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On Saturday morning, March 4, 2023, the induction ceremony of Mustafa Behbahanipour, the new head of the General Directorate of Cultural Services and Publications of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and the farewell ceremony of Hojat al-Islam Al-e Ayub, the former director general of this department, was held in the conference hall of the Assembly in Qom.
In this ceremony, while congratulating on Eids of Sha’ban and the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “We hope we can know Imam Mahdi (a.s.) correctly, be his helper, and be one of his real awaited ones.”
“Awaiting refers to positive and hopeful waiting (for the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi). Awaiting should create hope and joy. Awaiting means being ready and mobilizing all forces for a great global and international movement, to which all of us can contribute. In this way, each person is given a position based on his merit and competence,” he added.
“We must train ourselves for the Reappearance Age,” the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “A person who really Awaits is one who self-improves, and helps others and society to improve, in order to pave the way for Reappearance.”
Further in his speech, referring to the use of young members of the Assembly for positions, he said, “In the new phase of the activity of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, we use the young intellectual and operational staff of the Assembly and benefit from their experiences.”
Expressing appreciation and gratitude for the activities of Hojat al-Islam Al-e Ayub as the Director General of Cultural Services and Publications of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Hojat al-Islam Al-e Ayub is appointed as the representative of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Iraq. Iraq is important to us in every way. Hojat al-Islam Behbahani has done important works. However, the activities of the Assembly in Iraq, such as education, missionary affairs, communication with holy shrines, religious and cultural institutions, etc., must be improved and transformed.”
“Hojat al-Islam Al-e Ayub was born in Najaf and knows Iraq. He is also related to Iraqi figures and elites, and we hope that with cooperation and empathy, he will take great measures in Iraq,” he added.
Also, about Mr. Behbahanipour, the new head of the General Directorate of Cultural Services and Publications of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “He was one of the successful staff in holding the 7th General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and presented a good plan for his new position. Mr. Behbahanipour is young and follows up on the assigned tasks with concern.”
On the plans and objectives of the Assembly for next year he said, “The next year (1402 SH, corresponding to the second half of 2023 and the first half of 2024) is the year of transformation and improvement, and many transformational actions must be taken. Since my appointment, the country has been dealing with the Covid-19 Pandemic, and therefore our international visits and communications have been suspended. After two years, we held the 7th General Assembly. Since then, great works have been done in the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. The development of WikiShia virtual encyclopedia activities in 22 languages is a great achievement. The unveiling of the Nabaa application, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Research Network on the Google Scholar platform, the Rahnama Portal, etc., have been the recent important and valuable works of the Assembly in the virtual space.”
“Despite all the limitations, we did a lot of transformational actions. Today, all the obstacles have been removed, and by the grace of God, next year we must work in multiples, and it is necessary for everyone to actively cooperate,” Ayatollah Ramazani said at the end of his speech.
In this ceremony, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani appreciated the efforts of Hojat al-Islam Al-e Ayub, Director General of Cultural Services and Publications of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, by presenting a letter of appreciation, and in order, appointed Mr. Mustafa Behbahanipour as the new head of this General Directorate.
It is worth mentioning that at the end of this ceremony, Ayatollah Ramazani in letters of appreciation expressed his gratitude to the staff of the General Directorate of the Scientific and Cultural of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly who were diligent and active in organizing and holding the 7th General Assembly.
