AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A group of rabbis of the Neturei Karta movement gathered in front of the United Nations headquarters in New York to condemn the continuation of the US support to the Israeli regime.
The anti-Zionist worldview of the ultra-Orthodox groups Neturei Karta perceives Zionism and the establishment of the State of Israel as an anti-messianic act conceived and born from sin.
These groups vigorously deny the very legitimacy of the collective political return to the Holy Land and Jewish sovereignty. For them, this is the handiwork of humans, violating the Jewish people’s oath of political quietism.
In the demonstration, the rabbis and a group of anti-Zionist figures condemned the crimes of the Israeli regime against the Palestinian people and asked the United Nations not to allow the regime to continue its crimes."On behalf of the rabbis of Jerusalem, New York and several other cities of the world, we gathered in front of the UN to call the body not be indifferent to Israel's crimes and condemn them," Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss, the spokesman of the anti-Zionist Jews called Neturei Karta, told IranPress.
The rabbi added that Jews feel the suffering of the Palestinian people and that our religion does not approve of the aggression, persecution, and torture of the Palestinian people.
Rabbi Dovid Weiss stated that, in addition to the Palestinian people, the Israeli regime also persecutes the Jews.
