AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The first international conference on media and Islamic unity, dubbed Minaret, has been launched in the Iranian capital Tehran.
The conference started in Tehran's Eyvan e Shams Hall on Monday with a focus on media campaigns to boost unity among the Islamic ummah.
Elites, thinkers and media activists from Muslim and non-Muslim countries, including Turkey, Pakistan, Lebanon, Iraq, India, Australia and Malaysia, attend the Minaret conference.
Main themes of discussion in the meeting include truth in media, media literacy and potentials of the international media to promote unity among the Muslims.
