AhlulBayt News Agency: Two Jewish settlers were wounded in a new shooting incident in Occupied al-Quds while the shooter was “neutralized”, according to an Israeli police statement on Saturday.
The shooting took place in a settlement outpost near Silwan in Occupied al-Quds , Hebrew media reported.
The Israeli police statement said that security forces in the area "neutralized" the attacker, who is only 13 years old, according to Al-Jazeera TV channel.
The Hebrew media said that both of the settlers sustained serious injuries.
For his part, Hamas spokesman, Hazem Qasem, said that the Silwan shooting was in retaliation to the Israeli occupation’s crimes against “our people and holy shrines."
“The battle against occupation will continue until our people’s goals of freedom and independence are achieved,” he added.
The attack comes less than 24 hours after a similar shooting in Occupied al-Quds that killed 7 Israelis and wounded 12 others on Friday night.
It also comes two days after an Israeli violent raid on Jenin and its refugee camp that killed 9 Palestinians including an elderly woman on Thursday evening.
