AhlulBayt News Agency: Hamas Movement hailed the shooting operation that took place on Friday evening in Occupied al-Quds and left eight Jewish settlers dead.
In a statement issued on Friday night, Hamas spokesman for Occupied al-Quds, Muhammad Hamada, stressed that the shooting came as a natural response to the Jenin massacre.
"Our people's blood will not go in vain," he added.
"Resistance is our people's only response to the Israeli occupation."
"This is a message to the new Israeli terrorist government that blood will only bring blood."
Earlier Friday, at least eight Jewish settlers were killed in a shooting operation outside a synagogue in Occupied al-Quds.
Israeli medical sources said that 12 other settlers were wounded, many of them in critical condition.
The shooting follows a deadly Israeli raid in the occupied West Bank on Thursday in the Jenin refugee camp in which nine Palestinians were killed, including a woman.
